Sculpture D Meuble et Archi – Dragonfly Beetle

D Meuble et Archi Dragonfly Beetle from Madagascar – a curiosity in upcycled metal

A true feat of artistic upcycling, this piece merges the retro charm of antique lighting components with the robustness of salvaged metals, assembled by hand. With subtle shades ranging from olive green to patinated chartreuse yellow, its body catches the light beautifully. Long, airy wings and finely forged metal-rod legs give the insect a dynamic posture, as if it had just landed on its raw wood base.
